Title: 200 + Typical Whitetail out of Alberta

A taxidermy buddy of mine up in Cranbrook, BC just sent me this one that is apparently from Alberta.  The buck is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could ever want in a big typical.  Reminds ma a bit of the James Jordan Buck with a couple of extra points.  There was a special on one of the hunting channels last night on the Jordan buck that is celebrating 100 years in existence.  It was a great story with lots of twists, turns and controversy on a buck that held the world record for over 70 years before losing his crown to the Milo Hanson deer out of Saskatchewan

Guess I'll never know this year.  If it wasn't for a snapped Tendon in my elbow, I would be headed that way early tomorrow morning......   Thanks for reminding me.

damn, now if only i could find a blacktail that was that big :chuckle: sweet buck, i would probably forget to squezze the trigger....

I ain't no whitetail hunter but that's a stud buck deer right there! I would not pass on that one... :tup:

i like that. those "giants" from iowa with blobs of horn hanging  out dont look real cool imo
