Title: MInnesota 6 point shedding velvet/
Post by: albinodeerguy on December 18, 2008, 02:22:04 AM
I got this Minnesota 6 point on my trail camera just as he was starting to shed his velvet. When do the deer in your state shed theirs? Got any pics?

Those are very nice pics! Is that deer under an apple tree or did you haul those out to the woods? Thanks for sharing.

This camera is on a heavy crossing between two apple orchards, I did take a pile of apples and put them in front of the camera though. Helps make sure you get pic's of all the animals that go by.

Saw a spike on opening day og bow in MD Sept. 15 that still had velvet and three days later it was gone, thought it was late for the velvet to come off.
