I just found out that my brittany won the 46 dog Greater St Louis Brit club fall 1 hr All Age trial. That finally gave her the win she needed to finish her Grand Field Champion title from the AKC. The Grand title is awarded to dogs who obtain 6 points, including 1 win, in 1 hour trials after the FC title has been obtained. Shes still looking for that 1 point she needs to finish her Amateur FC title, but we have the two wins that are required out of the way, which is the biggest obstacle for the AFC title. Plus, the win yesterday qualifies her for the 2015 Nationals already, so we got several boxes checked yesterday. We're pretty proud parents today. The win should also jump her to #3 in the Purina points award for the top All Age dog in the country. Not too bad considering she missed nearly the entire spring circuit because we couldn't aford to send her out and pay for daycare at the same time.

Congratulations! Those midwest trials are so competitive, so many great dogs and handlers. That is a great win, and a tough stake to do it in!
