Title: Saturday was a good day to hunt bts
Post by: Bow tech hunter on November 16, 2014, 09:24:34 AM
My cousins and uncles shot these all on Saturday 2-2pts and 2-3pts and the guys that filled there tags are back out today with no guns to help push deer out of brush for the guys with tags and that are allowed to shoot because they got a tag left and also there's probly a group of 12 in my family hunting group and every year the guys that fill there tags they keep going out everyday the group goes and the ones that filled there tag will sweep thru the brush and timber with no guns so the guys with a tag still will have a chance to fill it

So here's what I got on how they got the bucks they all met up Saturday morning they were Gona all drive to a area they liked so they did and this was towards the end of the day they came up to a ridge and started glassine they saw a group of does walking in to the clearcut out of the timber one of the guys noticed something following them but when the group spotted the one buck the spotted more then one so the first 4 spotters got ready and they shot and they all got what they shot at my cousin said there was group of 6 does

I assumed they wouldn't have guns as that would be party hunting and illegal. I was thinking of someone firing into the guys in the brush pushing/herding the deer...

Don't mistake my meaning as someone policing your style, good on you guys for getting meat in the freezer as long as it's safe and legal would be my only thoughts

Oh no my bad no no sorry ya my family will take turns sweeping thru the brush and timber to hoppfully push something out for the guys with tags and I guess the guys that filled there tags that's it's there turn to push  the brush every time but ya they all know with no tag means no gun

Its the best way to hunt blackys, especially with this messed up weather.. the deer need a little help getting up and moving, it Damn sure isn't illegal, deer drives have been done for ages, its a great way to help kids get their deer to... me personally I like to hunt alone but i know a few spots where adeer drive would work aabsolutely amazingly!!! Congrats, thats some serious guttn and draggn  :chuckle:
