We hit the Cowlitz Sunday morning and it was about 20 degrees at the launch. The morning started out slow and it looked like most were using a bobber and eggs, including us. I saw one boat pick up three fish near me but I struck out there. Lower down I started using a pink worm and that turned around my luck. I picked up two and my buddy did as well. I'd be out there fishing again today but I have this annoying work problem going on. River was about 8600 CFS which seems technically easier than last time which I think was about 4600 or something...

Nice work! Looks like a fun way to hit the river!

Nice fish! Saw you guys heading in Sunday. I had to work hauling fish upstream.
Coho are biting great up at Scanewa. Have you ever tried it up there?

I have not fished up there. To be truthful, I really enjoy the river running almost as much as the catching. It's quite entertaining navigating the river and being captain at the same time :)
