Thank you and God Bless for all your inputs.

There is a great range a few miles west of Pe Ell. There is a contact number on a sign at the range, so you can become a member. Very affordable rate for steel silhouettes out to 500 meters.

Upper Nisqually Gun Club in Eatonville.

Cascade a Rifle and Pistol in Ravensdale. Free weekends usually monthly, but check website for what's allowed on free days. Otherwise hit up a member to shoot. Hint hint.

Cascade's long range has 200, 300, 500 and 600 yard shooting lines. Need to have a qualification card to shoot the 500 & 600. Need to coordinate with rangemaster to get a qualification card, and then find a member to go shoot with.
It is not one of the ranges open at the public shoot weekends.

Why would you need a "qualification" card to shoot 4 & 5 hundred yards but not 300? :dunno: Only King county would require a stupid card.

Probably so they don't have every Tom, Dick and Harry out there lobbing lead at 600 yards. Most people shouldn't be.

Since the 500 & 600 yard lines fire over the roof of the 200 yard line, they want proof you know what you are doing. They get the jerks that still try to just "fire a few" at 600 with a weak rifle and no clue of trajectory. The holes in the roof are evidence.
At this long distance range, only one firing line is used at a time.

Not a lot of people here. I am often by myself. Swingers at 200 yards ,3,4,500 meters. A good chance of seeing some elk while you are there.
