Title: Margaret Antlerless Tag Holders?

Do you have a tag in their or are you just looking to see how bad it has really gotten in the unit? I can tell you first hand how disappointing that unit is now and would not be surprised to see it and the Toutle go general soon.

Just been putting in for the tags for a while and looking forward to drawing the tag if it is still anygood!

Post by: Frankchurchbandit on November 20, 2014, 06:50:15 PM: 3 days....10+ miles hiked .... Been in numerous stands timber and draws. Only come across 4 elk, 2 bulls on the opener and 2 dead cows today, died from hoof rot in the last couple months . This place is in serious trouble.

I do have Weyerhaeuser access, but was considering accessing from the public land along the east end of the unit.

Post by: Frankchurchbandit on November 21, 2014, 08:46:57 PM: Day 4 also failed to yield a "live" elk. I did however find 2 more carcasses that fell to hoof rot. I'm sure there are elk there, I saw small amounts of fresh sign. 4 days and I've seen more dead then live elk.... I'm out. Came home today, this unit is toast. Almost forgot, in 4 days I never heard a single shot...
