Saw this guy today on late archery hunt. Watching him thru the spotter, he appeared to have a slight limp on the right rear, but no visible injury. Then I noticed his left eye was closed/gone, and looking closer could see red/meat/blood around it. Assuming he got stabbed by an antler in a fight. Sure would like to see the one that bested him.
Saw a hunter a couple hundred yards away working towards him, so I didn't even get to try a sneak :(

nice buck. just remember to sneek up from the left if you do try it

I doubt it, the buck crossed over to another canyon, while the hunter was still 150yds to his right.

Maybe he had a 150 yard pin and shot a Mathews :chuckle:

That's even funnier than trying to sneak up from the left. Going to look for him tomorrow.
