I read earlier about a proposal to change general archery elk season to the 8th - 20th. When will this be confirmed or denied?
I got pretty excited when I heard this proposal. I've only been hunting for two years. Those two years ended on the 15th. My job has a pretty big deadline every year Sept. 15 so they don't let me take any days off. Those two years involved getting off work at 5 pm on a fri., driving to the trailhead, hiking 7-10 miles in the dark by headlamp, hunting like crazy for two days and then hiking back out in dark in order to get to work the next day.
Needless to say, I'm kind of excited with the idea of taking the 15th on to hunt. When/how will I find out if the season has been changed?

Till the 26th? Not a chance of that happening.

8-20th possibly but i dont see them adding 6 extra days in addition to giving it better timing
