:chuckle:Im heading out to hit the popscicle stand or I mean the tree stand for some deer action that ive had on the camera for a while ,since ive been tied to the slave factory for a week of deer season ,now its time to get out there ,im takeing the go pro to prove the bear don't hibernate around here or at least that's my belief ! We just don't have rough enough winters here, another one of my beliefs ??Well anyways I was hopeing for some input on this,im sure someone wants to set me straight or tell me im on to something ,I really think there still out there . WE SHAL SEE ?!

Not so much the harshness of the winter, but the lack of groceries that sends them to ground.
A Black bear will stay up if near a fast food dumpster...... Denver I think had an example of this. Mmmmmmmm Burger King

so... how did it go?
-
Sooo...any proof that there is no hyberneation around here?
-
:chuckle:
Yes they hibernate around Spokane, but yes you can see them still in the middle of winter if its nice.

Some here might think I'm full of crap but last Friday at 11 PM I almost hit a yearling Bear on Blewit Pass down by Scotty Creek. 100 % it was a Bear
By far the latest I've seen a Bear out on the Eastside
-
Note Bone's post or call the sighting in to the YKWTSASFFRO.

Absolutely believable. Its been in the 50s all week. Note the snowpack in the area.

Exactly Bone,
Warm last week. Hardly any snow on Blewit

I think the frost came out of the ground, so I am hoping this moisture is sinking in. (off subject)

Watching a Robin tossing leaves in the orchard back of the house. Came in yesterday.
Hope the hills get some snow this year.
