I'm looking for any information on Silver Lake in Cowlitz Co. .Specifically I'm looking for someone that lives on the lake or fishes it regularly for BASS. I'm trying to get an idea of the water conditions in January, February, March and April. I understand that later in the year turbidity is HIGH.
Thanks a ton.

Scott as you might guess in January and February water temps are cold and usually windy not bad wind but just enough to make controlling the boat while trying to slowly fish a jig a pain. The water is shallow so a slow falling presentation is Paramount. The water is almost always plenty clear enough to fish unless there is an alge bloom but those occur in late summer or fall. By late March or April the water has warmed grab a jig and flip bushes till your arms fall off. As the water warms spinner baits pick up fish too.
I don't know a whole lot more but ask more questions
And I'll try to help
Lastly Willy Nelson who works for Pacific Boatland in Vancouver lives on the lake he may be willing to share info.
