A huge congrats to our own Jason Phelps. A very "strong" showing against the best in the world. Please join me in thanking Jason for representing the Evergreen State so well!

Well done, Jason!

Thanks RJ it was a blast. There were some amazing elk callers that took the stage.
"Primetime" from the site called really well but just missed the final stage in the men's division.
I felt fortunate to share the stage with Corey Jacobsen, Bryan Langley, Matt Brimmer, Al Morris and Lance Sellers. I look forward to making a few tweaks and improving for next year.

Congrats Phelps. Also congrats to Cory. Way to go.

Definitely was a fun experience down there. A lot of GREAT callers gathered into one room. Can't wait for next year already.

Congrats to Jason and the others who represented the PNW. I look forward to checking it out on the web.

Thanks everyone.
I've always thought these elk calling competitions scored by people for judges are kind of goofy. The judging is very subjective but there also seems to be a consensus amongst the callers on who called the best.
The most important thing I take away from these completions is the ability to make the exact call/sound, under more pressure than I experience in the field. So when I'm in a hunting situation I have complete confidence in my calling.

Well done, Jason.
