I'd buy a 2014-2015 Can-am 500 XP before I'd buy a Polaris. The Can-am has a better warranty. They might be up to 5 years now. The Polaris only has a 6 month warranty. My 500 XT has power steering too and plenty of power. Just a thought.........................

Save some cash and buy used.  There was a 700 Polaris in the classified section with less than 200 miles on it.

I'd be leery of buying used myself. They are very expensive to fix.

Not going used. Did some looking today at the 15 Polaris 570, the Honda Rubicon 500 and the Can Am 650.

I tend to lean towards Honda for the reliability, I have a 300 and a 450 that have a lot of hard miles on them and keep on ticking. I have a Can-Am side by side now I do like though. I have never been a Polaris fan, they are generally heavy and don't take the abuse like a Honda.

It's been my experience with Polaris ATV's (I have 3 of them) that if you need parts you'll pay about 1/3 the cost of what the other brands want for their similar component if it fails.

My dad has the 2014 model.  He loves it. Ive drove it a couple times and in my opinion it rides alot better the all the other Yamaha quads ive been on. I was really impressed.

Well I bit the bullet today. Pick up my new Can Am 650 xt on Tuesday . For the price of this one compared to the 570+ accessories I'm ahead on the 650. Plus I get a longer warranty 2 1/2 years compared to 6 months .

Well here it is.  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:   Still have to mount up the fender flairs , and swap over the winch cable to synthetic rope. Not sure if Im in love with the 6"racks though ( I thought they ordered the 4") Just the quick ride from the truck to the shop I can tell there's more power than I will ever need.

Nice ride Allen. You won't be disappointed with the 6 inch racks. That's what I have, gives you a bit more area to latch your rifle to.

Allen,

DO NOT buy a CAN-AM windshield, if you've thought about. They are very cheap looking and expensive. I bought one, installed it. Flimsy, junk. Took it off and returned it.
