Ive seen a few of these available, and the video and cam results seem pretty good. I've actually had fair success just holding my phone up to the eye piece of my spotting scope...
Anyone using one they like? Anyone look at the different models and figure out which is supposed to be the best?
Thanks!

I was impressed with the Swaro version made by swaro on a swaro spotter. incredibly high quality pic and video considering we were at 700-1400 yards. I have a samsung s5 and see that i am waiting for Phonskope to come out with their own version as they currently only make one for the S4.
I would not bat an eye if Swaro made one. Good stuff

I had a phoneskope one for my iPhone that fit onto my vortex spotter. I returned it. It wouldn't stay squared up to the eyepiece lens of the scope because of the weight of the phone. The fit to the eye piece was loose enough that it would sag making for only half a picture. For $80 it was too much for a crappy result.

Purchase a phone cover or find a old one you have replaced. You can make your own very easily with PVC from Home Depot, super glue and rubber foam from Joe Ann Fabrics, or the local fabric store.

I've seen phoneskopes used several times with iphones with great results. :dunno:
