Title: What would drilling and tapping 2 holes cost?
Post by: Pete112288 on January 05, 2015, 07:29:35 PM: So I got my step-son a muzzleloader last year and the rear sight on it is busted. We want to switch it to a peep sight anyway because he shoots pretty good with peeps. It is a TC Thunderhawk and it has been impossible to find a peep for it. Contacted Williams and they dont have one that matches. I have been able to find the scope bases though, which would allow us to mount the NECG peep. By the time the peep and the bases are bought its roughly $120. I was curious if it would cost less if we have it drilled and tapped to have a peep for a newer model peep to go on it.

Post by: Bofire on January 06, 2015, 05:31:07 PM: do not forget the relationship between the front and back sight. Heights of both have to work together. You will have a hard time getting a price for two holes, get a price for sight correction.
