Post by: jjaba on January 12, 2015, 11:10:48 AM
Wondering how often and what calls used by the guys hunting pope land off Bear Creek Dewato Road.

Only curious to see if we are over hunting the area and the yotes are getting educated to the calls.

thanks

I coyote hunt in Belfair, Tahuya, Shelton areas often. My hunts usually involve 3-5 miles of walking with several stands. I think I am hunting where there are few hunters, I rarely see anyone except during deer season. I use hand calls.  I see lots of sign, call in an occasional coyote. I do a lot better in Eastern Washington.
