Had the pleasure of jumping in a buddy's boat (instead of my own for once!) and catching some steelhead yesterday. River was beautiful and the fish were biting. Here are a couple of the standouts. Big chrome buck was 37" and had sea lice :) and got one other identical, slightly more colored buck.

Thats the first steelhead I've caught with sealice in a long time! When I was a kid and we fished the lower Sky during the catch and release season, sealice was the norm. Unfortunately, that fishery is gone forever :( But its nice to see some good fish returning on the coast, and it was sure nice to put the bonk on big hatchery buck. He will be tasty on the bbq tonight
