Headed out and had a skim of ice in the creek but managed to pull a few mallards in and a pair of geese. Managed to bring down one of the geese and it happened to be banded, was banded in 2011 in coulee city, cool part is I shot one out of the same blind two years ago that was banded at the same time and place and only one number from being consecutive, both were females!
Update: I arrived back Sunday from Kellogg Idaho and took the dogs for a run to get some energy out and I see them chase down a wounded goose, I get to it and put it out of its misery and I'll be a son of a gun if it isn't banded. I figure it was from a friend who hunted that morning but he said he never fired at any geese, so I think it may have been the other bird in the pair earlier in the week as it was hit hard but it sailed half mile up the creek and never recovered it and worked its way back down??? Anyhow was banded at the same place in coulee city but 3 years earlier in 2008, said it was born before 2008 so pretty old bird.

Had a flock of mallards one time and knocked five out of it with a buddy all five were banded and 4 were consecutive and one was banded 3 years prior to those but never shot any bands close to being consecutive over a few years, plus those are my only two goose bands :-)
