Can't believe folks would slum a m&p over a glock??  I'll gladly spend the extra scratch on proven performance....

I think with the M&P it's a "Oh no, what have I done" kinda thing.

the M&P has an honest shot at being the next military standard sidearm, not to mention the countless police departments who are using it.

I think it's safe to put them in the "proven" category.

Before Nov 3rd, I had 3 guns on the list. 2 of them #1s. Of course I sold them all on that date.

Really tough to top a glock in reliability, smith came about in 05, glock joined us in 82', countless tests have "proven" how reliable they are... pass the glock

There are more categories if you click the link up at the top in the first paragraph.

Not surprisingly the #1 is #1 for single shots

I'd take the M9 over the M&P or a Highpower, CZ75, Glock of any flavor(I hate Glocks, but shoot them well)...anything.

I predict the M9 will stay or if the Army was smart they would align with JSOC and go Glock.

Ouch, not feeling the love for the M&P  :chuckle: I have several thousand rounds through a Pro and she is running strong. I think the test of time will show the M&P is a pretty good pistol, along with the Glock

This is a good comparison

I only saw three Browning Citori, M-14 (M-1A) and the 1911. The Winchester O/U shown is a Browning and appears to be a 525 model.  :twocents:
