where in the eastern Washington is the best place to buy pistols at the best price? mike w
-
That is a really hard question to answer. It is kind of like groceries....Milk at safeway is cheaper than Fred Meyer, but Fred Meyer has cheaper butter then Safeway.
With that said if you watch Sportsmans Sales they are hard to beat. I have also bought guns from Stans in Wenatchee and got really good deals. Find what you want and shop around.
Carpsniper has good prices on Rugers.
What are you looking for...maybe people can keep their eyes open for you.

how far east are you talking? White Elephant has great prices...

Buy it online and follow the instructions. It's cheaper than any other way I've found.

I have bought guns online but the ffl at tristate is now $45 thanks to 1594 and the ship is about $20. if you buy more than one gun there is one ffl and one ship. you have to pay tax no matter what. mike w

The transfer fee is already in the sale, which is zero. I've never paid for a transfer buying it that way.
-
camp , are you saying I should not be paying an ffl fee? mike w
-
Not if your buying it from local place. If you buy online then yes you will be charged FFL fee and of course tax no matter what

If you buy a gun online and have it sent to a third party/FFL you will be charged a transfer fee by the third party this covers processing the 4473 and running the NICS background check.
-
You will also be charged sales tax. Or whatever it's called. Use tax or something like that.

The fee is built into the price from Gun Genie. I've never paid a transfer fee to my FFL guy. If you have a CPL, the background check has already been ran on you, unless I-594 changed that. Paying $45 to transfer a gun is a ripoff, I'd do business elsewhere.

:yeah: Usually the FFL will run you $20-30. I know Buds has an FFL locating system on his website. Just put in your zip and it shows FFL's close to you and what they charge.

Buds is a good one to buy from too.
