Title: Question for you AR guys
Post by: Jellymon on January 29, 2015, 05:59:49 AM
I'm wanting to replace the collapsible stock on my Ruger SSR556, with this.
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/760499/ace-skeleton-buttstock-99-overall-length-ar-15-lr-308-aluminum-black?cm_vc=ProductFinding (http://www.midwayusa.com/product/760499/ace-skeleton-buttstock-99-overall-length-ar-15-lr-308-aluminum-black?cm_vc=ProductFinding)

So I'm going to need the longer buffer tube and spring. What is a decent tube and spring to get for a decent price, and can I use the buffer out of my old tube? Feel free to offer anything else I need to know, this is my first time doing this. Thanks! :)

I found this. Good route to go?

You will need a new buffer as well.

The brownells buffer tube setup will work fine.

I would get he stock, tube, buffer and spring from the same pace and save on shipping.
