Title: Looking for a recommendation for a reputable Guide/outfitter for Elk in Oregon
Post by: Gentrys on January 29, 2015, 05:24:48 PM: I'd like to take my 14YO son on a quality elk hunt this year and I'm considering Oregon.
If anyone has a recommendation on a good outfitter, I'd really appreciate it.
Not looking for a trophy bull hunt, but somewhere that we'll have a good chance of seeing a decent amount of elk and a decent chance of getting a shot.

Post by: BullPacs on January 29, 2015, 05:37:20 PM: Spent the week next to Blue Mountain Adventures out of La Grande at the Sportsman's Show in Puyallup. Seems to have a pretty sweet set up with good success and lots to offer.

Post by: carpsniperg2 on January 29, 2015, 05:43:39 PM: I have heard great things about john cole. We have a few local guys that go about every other year. They have had pretty good luck hunting and always at least got into the elk if they didn't bring one home.
