So if you were drawn for an elk multiseason tag and were going to put in for the same unit for special permit for both choices what 2 would you pick out of the 3? Modern, muzzleloader, archery. Say for the sake of argument, you are equally proficient and comfortable with each weapon type. What would you put for first choice an which one for second choice? I was thinking to hit the rut the hardest and have longer season chance most would pick archery and muzzleloader. Am I right?

Personally, I want to hunt elk with my bow only. So Im choosing the permit I want on each side of the state when I draw.

Oh I forgot, I knew they brought up the issue but are they allowing multiseason tag holders to apply for special permits on both east and west sides?

There are rifle hunts during Setpember and/or early October.
I would most likely apply for one of those for my number 1 choice and then probably an archery hunt for my second choice.

Yes both sides, all weapons.
