So I royally screwed up with the fact that I over boiled my 2 point blacktail skull. So I decided to do a skullcap. It's not the best in the world but I like it!

Another one, not sure why they are sideways.

Looks nice!

Thanks Grundy and thanks jasnt!

No problem. They both look great

The 3pt looked better before a cat knocked it off the counter, but thanks

I really like the "cookie" idea, that's freakin awesome! might have to steal the idea for last years bug
-
Yeah that wood look bada$$!That's a really nice buck you got there

I like this idea so much, the only thing im trying to figure out is what kind of wood to use. I just cut down a plum tree which is super cool because its purple and yellow swirls. but I have rounds of maple, oak and some red cedar too. Any recommendations? looks like you used an epoxy to bond the two? im also debating on using an epoxy or maybe running a screw from the rear of the wood into the base of the skull...

Yeah sloppy job with the epoxy on my part.I think Cedar would look cool. You'll have to post how it turns out!

ill post pix when I get it finished
