Title: Any Carp fly fishermen/women on here?

Have you fished for them? I grew up catching them on strawberry pop and wheaties, sometimes with worms, but have never fly fished for them. That has to be a hoot. I'm definately going to give it a go this year.

Post by: jackelope on February 04, 2015, 07:53:07 PM: I've tried. Never successfully but all the homework I did says they'll eat those flies. I tried it in shallow water and line spooked them a bunch. Supposed to be really great carp flyfishing on banks lake wading and sight fishing shallow water. Tough to not spook them though, I can vouch for that.

Post by: quadrafire on February 04, 2015, 08:15:44 PM: I went to the FT3 flyfishing show last night here in Spokaloo and they had a clip on carp fishing. The Columbia was one of the fisheries shown. Pac NW bone fishing spot and stalk sight fishing at its best looks like. Interesting for sure
