Title: Fur Prices
Post by: TeacherMan on December 28, 2008, 09:47:17 PM: Has anyone herd what the fur prices are doing this year? Someone tried telling me that a yote was going for over $50 if it was skinned, fleshed and stretched properly this year. I know cats are always good, I've been told they are breaking the $400 mark. Anyone know anything or herd anything? :dunno:

Depends on the Cat. your not going to get $400-$600 for every cat you catch. Price depends on the quality, size, and color.

They call bobcats lynx cats at the sales. You're right, they want gray cats. The cats i've seen this up here this year have been very brown...like the yakima cats. That's not good for prices.
