I am thinking about dusting off the flyrod and taking the boys over there this weekend. Anybody know how the fishing is and what shape the creek is in. Thanks

The creek is in great shape. I think the fishing is always decent this time of year and no mosquitos to deal with. Good luck!

We were there last weekend, amazing weather for February. We went same weekend two years ago and while I will say the fishing was better last time there is value in being in short sleeve shirts by mid morning and not having to break the ice out of the eyes on your rod :chuckle:. The water was good though a bit windy a couple times a day but it was still fishable. My son tossed literally everything in the fly box over the days we were there. Best part for me was watching him tie a fly at lunch and hook up with a great fish. I can tell you get there early to get your spot, midday Saturday and Sunday there were a lot of folks out enjoying the weather and fishing (easily 50+). Go and have a great time!

The creek seemed to be higher then it was last year this time. The fish numbers were about the same as they always are but with the weather that we have been having the fish seemed to be a little more aggressive and feeding on a wider range of bugs rather then the one or two I always toss at them. Have fun and like stated above get there early to claim that spot you want to start out on.
