who else is making the pilgrimage to the tucannon this weekend? don't know why, but I always get excited for this trip every year, haven't missed it in 13 years or so now!
-
We will be over there in 3 weeks.
-
What are you fishing for this time of year?
-
They will be stocked with trout.
-
I hope to bring home a solid 7oz of nice mushy trout!
But really, I hope to just go kick off the spring, watch the kid catch some fish, and visit with some good friends

Love that place. It's kinda exciting finding out what they bite on the best each year. Last year I went I was doin a slip line bobber about 3 feet deep and 3 pautzke eggs and killed it. I think the love comes from the general area though!

syoungs - how did you fair?
-
I took my limit on the opener, slept in and had to battle for a spot, WAY more people up there then the past few years, but it was a super nice day.
spooled my rods with new line I bought, but it was all dry rotted, so the few jumbos I did catch broke me off right at the bank where some weeds were. oh well. still a decent time!
