Title: spring opener Tucannon!!
Post by: syoungs on February 26, 2015, 07:20:40 PM: who else is making the pilgrimage to the tucannon this weekend? don't know why, but I always get excited for this trip every year, haven't missed it in 13 years or so now!

Post by: 100 grain on February 27, 2015, 11:18:13 PM: Love that place. It's kinda exciting finding out what they bite on the best each year. Last year I went I was doin a slip line bobber about 3 feet deep and 3 pautzke eggs and killed it. I think the love comes from the general area though!

Post by: syoungs on March 04, 2015, 01:56:00 PM: I took my limit on the opener, slept in and had to battle for a spot, WAY more people up there then the past few years, but it was a super nice day.

spooled my rods with new line I bought, but it was all dry rotted, so the few jumbos I did catch broke me off right at the bank where some weeds were. oh well. still a decent time! :tup:
