Measured 38.5 inches.
18lbs
Landed 4 steelhead that week. I feel I made the most of the limited time on those three trips. 1st trip landed a beautiful smaller Crome hatchery after about 2.5 hours. Second trip limited in 25 minutes. And the 3rd trip I caught this big boy.

Congrats!! Pretty fish!!

Finally got the other pics uploaded to computer so here are the three other fish

And went out on a trip a week later to soon find out how quickly steelhead fishing can die to lack of rain and receding water levels. Did run into a game warden and had a positive encounter.

Great haul!

One of two landed today. Low water levels making things tough. Prefer to run bobber and jigs or eggs and other stuff. But today had to turn to two small pearl pink corkies with anise scent on a little yarn in shallower drifts. Nothing seemed to be in deeper pools.
Caught two in two casts and nothing the rest of day. The fish in pic was first native I ever caught. Both fished were released.

Since the switch Back to lakes I have been doing fantastic all the way through the year so far on trout and bass. This year I have landed a lot of quality fish. Including my best smallmouth and largemouth. The largemouth went 6 lbs 12 oz. the smallmouth went 5lbs 8 oz.

As well as my personal best surf perch just shy 2lbs. That was a fun day. Reeled them in left and right and then got limits of razors in the evening.
The surf perch I've only gone after for 3 trips. I've learned a lot on fishing for them and as I am getting better equipped my success has gotten better with each trip.
Thanks hunt.
