Title: Active yotes this morning
Post by: Curly on December 30, 2008, 06:03:38 AM: The coyotes are sure howling up a storm this morning.

I awoke this morning just before 5:00 due to a thump I heard outside. I grabbed a flashlight and .357 to make sure no one was messing around out there. I never really figured out exactly what the noise was...........I'm thinking maybe some snow slid off the roof.

Anyway, while I was outside, I heard a lot of coyotes a couple hundred yards off howling like crazy.

I was wondering.........Why do coyotes howl? Maybe they were chasing a deer?
