Yes, a boat is nice, but Lake Roosevelt offers excellent bank fishing access to folks that don't have one…Like me. Last Sunday (3/1), my wife and I caught three 16" rainbows from shore. The flesh quality of these fish out of the cold, clean water is exceptional.

Post by: becker on March 03, 2015, 07:11:12 PM: Lots of shore success at Spring Canyon, Fort Spokane, Hunters. Those are the locations I've fished. But tons of other locations.

A few weeks ago I watched a shore fisherman land back to back fish in 20 mins.

When I was a younger I loved shore fishing Hunters.

We use to go it with like a 18" leader with a decent sinker, worm and marshmallow.
