After hearing of at least a couple E. Wa. farms being hit with Avian Flu, what do you think about the wild turkey population? The affected farms had to destroy all their birds (chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks). I haven't spoken with my turkey hunting landowner yet, or done any scouting to know whether or not it has had any impact. Thoughts?

Read a story yesterday about roughly 2,000 snow geese dead near Mud Lake in S. Idaho.
Avian Cholera is suspected. I hope this doesn't pass to wild turkeys.

hi guys, saw this article couple days ago on WSJ. be careful out there. make sure cook your game meat very well, and handle with care( gloves and mask). I live in NC Washington. State killed my neighbor birds(chicken, ducks, geese) after confirmed positive on bird flu. However her neighbor which is 2 blocks away tested negative. good luck, use caution, and have fun.
