I have outgrown my current safe, and I need a bigger one. I have narrowed my search to either the Fort Knox Defender 41 gun or a Liberty Lincoln 50. I went to the Central Oregon Sportsmans show this weekend, got to see both safes, I went back and forth several times between the 2 vendors, listened to both of them talk trash about each other, and now I am even more confused. The Fort Knox seems heavier duty and well built, the doors are heavy, but the Liberty was a better deal, came with more bells and whistles, the Liberty guy still claims that his safe it better built and has better fire protection. I want to try and stay under $4000. I am hoping that someone on here is a safe expert and can help me narrow this down.
