Had to get out of the house, so I went to a little spot...
I got onto some bobkitty tracks, yote and cougar, but calling did no good... :dunno: Maybe next time.
At least I saw their tracks so I know where some are...its only a matter of time...
-
Right on man. Just a matter of time now. Keep at it.
-
Hit those calls hard and give it plenty of time with your set-ups. A fawn/doe decoy (for cougar) could be very effective with some loud fawn distress bawls.
-
Nice! Keep after it you will get one someday! Good luck! :)
-
Thanks for the tip Bow4elk...I dont have a fawn decoy...I should go pick one up..I do have a yote decoy though....
-
those look like Lynx and a young wolf track's. :chuckle:
-
The bobcat setup I call 45 minutes,I dont get to aggressive with it,they will dilly dally coming in sometimes.I dont use any decoys..I stay low.The bobs will get up on a stump sometimes and look for ya,good luck
-
I stayed 1 hour for each set....only did 2 sets though...used mainly cotton tail distress...with a few howls set in later on in the sets.
Again, thanks for the tips... ;)
