Yum, used to love walleye shore lunches at our cabin in Ontario.  I've only caught three walleye here in WA, though my first was a 32" out of Potholes.     I thought I snagged a tree until I started pulling vertically.   :chuckle:

Thanks, now I am hungry right after breakfast! Walleye tastes awesome. I don't want to go all Bubba from Forrest Gump, but I don't think there is a bad way to cook it.

Well, I'd say the walleye that got released was probably the happiest of the bunch.

Great fish!

With the amount of people fishing walleye lately, its nice to see someone release those big girls full of eggs. It sure is a popular fishery this state wants to destroy.

wish someone would release some of those big girls on the west side

I would bet that there has been some 'bucket biologists' that have released a few on the west side (just the odds tell me this). I agree it would be nice to have them over on this side of the hill (there are a few in the lower Columbia).

Always the tartar is made Fresh!!!

The forecast for today they missed by a mile!! This morning the bottom dropped out of the bulb and a brutal west wind for about 3 hours.  Almost called it but chose to make a run in a differant direction and then we got a few.

I don't imagine you would be!! Just think of the food source they have!!! That would be like hitting the Golden Corral for us.

They've been documented in Lake Washington.

That big old female was put to an untimely death.  Just think of the eating machines that could have been turned loose on the food base there!!   :chuckle:
