Title: Do different brand dies fit different reloaders?
Post by: Bmcox86 on March 14, 2015, 04:34:02 PM: I recently bought a Hornady lock and load reloader and was wondering if the RCBS dies I got with my 300 will interchange with it. From what I can tell I just have to buy the lock and load die bushings and it should work? Is this correct or do I have to purchase the lock and load dies for the 300

Post by: wadu1 on March 14, 2015, 05:07:06 PM: All new reloader's and dies are the modern standard is 7/8-14. I use RCBS, LEE, Forester and Lyman dies in my RCBS and LEE loaders.

Not completely true. An M9 magazine will fit in a Hi-Power, you just have to add a new magazine catch notch on the opposite side. If you cut the notch right, the mags work beautifully. If you don't, well, the gun doesn't work so well lol
