Looking to meat hunt probly I know springers on the coulmbia is 1 fish per person I heard so I don't want to waste a trip for us to get one fish each

Buoy 10/ astoria will be your best trip. Lots of fish to be caught, kings and silvers.

Yep! That would be a great trip. Especially with all the Chinook that are supposed to show up!

I have gone with Clancy before, good guy!!
-
I've been out with Clancy a couple times on the Cowlitz. Knows his stuff. I've heard his son, Ron, is very good as well. Follow their instructions and you should do well.
-
Doesn't summer salmon season open June 16?
-
You'll have fun for sure! That's one of my favorite fisheries on the Columbia. Good luck, see you out there!

You have to do what Clancy says. Lol he is a stickler. You may fish with Ron, and both are great. But Ron is really cool and these two are the best in the biz. Ron is a manimal when it comes to fishing. They won't dissapoint!

Fall salmon at the mouth for August. It can be a blast and produce boat limits. Silvers and kings!
-
Should be fun! Keep us updated....

I highly doubt the river will be open for kings this year at that time, if not a early steelhead trip will be the name of the game.

Clancy and Ron and other friends said June 1st for kings oh ya can't wiat

yes that is one of the proposed seasons, nothing is set yet and typically it opens on the 16th unless we have a left over springer quota which is not as likely this year.
-
Ya Well I'm pumped to get on river it's been a while since I went
-
-You will have a fun trip! It could be a 10pound summer steel hitting your spin-glo or a 45 pound king! They hit the same stuff! Gotta love early june!

Always the last two weeks in June for hogs.
