Cant wait to get her out and start training. She is very smart and well behaved so far, hoping that trend continues
-
She's a cute pup. I'm not sure if you have checked out the Retriever Training Forum yet or not but there is a lot of good tips and discussion about all things retriever. retrievertraining.net is the website.
Have fun and good luck!

Congradulations! remeber consistancey and frequesncy in training is WAY more important than duration...
-
I'm hoping she retrieves well but she is actually a GSP
-
Have fun with it!

Cool,
where did you find her. I may be in the market shortly.
Congrats and thanks. Jackson

I got her from a GSP breeder in Yakima. Their name is Wildthings hunting dogs, found them on Facebook. Earlier last year they also did a GSP/Chesapeake bay mix litter. We were very pleased with our experience and our pup is very well behaved and socialized. Very smart as well

She also pointed for the first time two nights ago. Took her out to go to the bathroom and she must have caught wind of the chickens or something in the greenbelt and immediately went on point. It was a very cool thing to see and i cant wait to get her out in the field

Thx linder. any clue as to how big she will be when she reaches full maturity.
-
She should be about 50 lbs. They are a little taller than average labs but also a little thinner

She will if you train and work with her on it. My last shorthair would break thin ice on a duck search.
-
She is going to do more duck hunting than anything so there will be many days of training in her future
