This simple tool has been handy to use and I thought some of you might be interested in having one as well.
I clean and collect animal skulls and wanted a way to get reasonably accurate length and width measurements. I'd see these several times and thought I might be able build one myself.
All I used was some scrap wood and a little brad nail gun. It probably doesn't need much description, but you need one end to slide toward and away from the other fixed end. I made the center pice of 1x1 slide between the two outside pieces. It turns out to be pretty accurate. Have fun with it.
