Title: Rabbit Hunting on the West Side
Post by: THE SHOOTER on January 02, 2009, 01:04:56 AM: I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where to run the dog on rabbits around the Lacey area? Are there any good rabbits in the Capitol Forest area?, and do they run up high or stay down in the lower areas?

Just be aware that Capital Forest is very slippery right now with all the wet snow. i was up there yesterday in my jeep and had a togh time getting around, and i locked up on l 4 wheels. spent a lot of time sliping around.

Seriously now, CF has a lot of hare up there, good running too. Let us know how you do, maybe I'll run into you up there sometime.

Its snowing right now and theres only about 2 inches on the ground.
