It was killed on an Indian res in New Mexico, it was at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet in Denver this last weekend.  Does anyone have better pic's than what I have on my phone, if I can figure out how to post them I will.

You bet, I was sure someone on here would have went to the show and have better pic's.  I sure hope it's all legit, what a bull. I just can't imagine seeing a bull of that caliber much less killing one.

Probably from the Jicarilla Reservation.  Plenty of giants come out of there.

I'm thankful I didn't have to cut it.  We'd have needed two freezers.  For the love of an eye guard!

I meant white mt apache and I forgot about San carlos apache s. Is it the San Carlos where Dan Agnew harvested  that typical 404" a year or two ago?

-
Those tribes really manage for quality , Imagine what the yakimas could produce on there rez ?

-
It seems they would rather eat them themselves than sell them.  :dunno:

Imagine how well they could eat if they sold the tags!
-
Imagine how well they could eat if they (some) didn't sell what they killed, a lot went to that poacher in Tacoma who bought them.  But that's a different thread.
