Title: Colville pre-season guide wanted (show me some good public area)
Post by: cowboycraig on April 08, 2015, 05:09:20 PM: Would like to checkout some public or private land (if there is permission to hunt) this weekend in the Coville area. I am in Seattle so Colville seems like "the best place" without driving super far. Would kick a guide who knows the area some $ for their time.

You have to be careful paying people for services on public land. A lot of places it's illegal to take money unless you're a licensed outfitter on that land.

Pocket change is right.
You're paying for years of experience on his home turf. You'd use that much money on gas on 2 trips over there scouting and still may not find yourself in the turkeys.
