Title: Belt holster to molle attachment
Post by: Skinnyguts on April 25, 2015, 09:20:57 PM
I just picked up an Eberlestock F1 Mainframe pack and wanted to attach my leather belt holster to the hip belt on the pack. I tried searching for ideas online and didn't really see anything that looked sturdy enough for a revolver. I didn't want my pistol to flop around at all and thought it probably would with some of the nylon web attachments I found. I also didn't want to buy a kydex holster that clipped on.  After poking around a hardware store for a while, I came up with this.

Materials
2- 2" footman loops
2- pieces 1/8x1x4" aluminum flat stock
4- 8-32x1/4" Chicago screws
1- old leather belt from 2nd hand store

It turned out very sturdy, no wiggling at all. Kinda haeavy at 7oz. but I would think its better than loose weight flopping around.
Here's what it looks like.
