Title: Clark Unit 244 hunt
Post by: jstone on April 28, 2015, 02:48:17 PM: I have a spot that i have been wanting to hunt in the clark 244 archery for a long time. its on my bucket list to exsplore. Anyone hunt that area? I need to be dropped off by boat from lake chelan. Looks like there are no trails. I do see a couple cabins and docks at the base of the hill i want to go up. my GPS doesnt say that it is private. How do i find out? I have been looking for years. Maybe exsplore while bear hunting in august for 2 or 3 days.

Post by: bobcat on April 28, 2015, 04:54:08 PM: I'm pretty sure that's all public land. Look at the "Go Hunt" map on the WDFW website. Zoom in to the Clark GMU and switch over to the public lands map. You'll be able to see exactly where you plan on hiking in and whether it's public land or not. That should all be National Forest along there.
