Back in March 2014 I bought my first blackpowder . I've shot it about 25 times. Of those 25 times, about 4 or 5 The primer failed to fire. I have not yet had a case of a hang fire where the primer ignited The primer failed to fire. I have not yet had a case of a hang fire where the primer ignited and failed to ignite the powder. Someone has told me that that model of rifle may have had an issue with the firing pens in the mal someone has told me that that model of rifle may have had an issue with the firing pins not working properly all the time. This would make sense with the problem I've been having. Has anybody had the same problem or heard about this issue? This would make sense with the problem I've been having.

Contact knight rifles. I think they're aware of an issue with the length of the breech plug.

so the problem may not be the pin, but that the breech plug isn't quite long enough?

With my disc extreme it wasnt an issue with the breech plug but an issue with the bolt housing. I sent it back and they fixed it all up. Basically the bolt guts were too far back in the bolt.
