Title: salmon technique
Post by: WA hunter14 on May 17, 2015, 07:06:16 PM
Im going to be working down on the salmon river next week and i heard the kings are on big time, i used to catch alot on the coast with just a corkie or a little yarn and corkie but i havent seen anyone here using that kind of setup. What do you guys use in clear slower water when fishing from shore?

We always used the 3 way swivel and pencil lead on a short dropper with the eggs on a 2 1/2 to 3 foot leader. Until you figure it out you might lose lots of lead. The bobber system has been very effective for my friend. With the bobber it is hard to tell if your eggs are drifting on the bottom.
