I rounded up a couple of decent lings at Tatoosh Island yesterday morning. It turned out to be the best weather day for my stay of three days. The cooler is full. I also picked up a decent cabezon at the island as well. Behind me in the cave were a few 2000lb elephant seals napping. Although somewhat disturbed they never got hostile while we took our lunch break :)
The sea kayak proved the best choice when navigating the currents between Cape Flattery and Tatoosh Island. A bunch of guys hauled in their halibuts by kayak over the weekend as well.
