Title: Pointers on Fishing the Jetty at Westport

I would like to take my son fishing at the Jetty at Westport and wondering if anyone had any information or pointers? Thanks

I have seen people do well on standard surf perch rigs. Or tossing jigs but i have never done great. Watch those slick rocks and be careful :twocents:

I just seen your post. we fish the jetty all the time. you need to fish it on slack tide. a black on gray swim bait or a white bottom blue top swim bait works wonders. this is from a boat.. if you fish off the jetty use a weight with a clam or sand shrimp. if u have a little boat you can carry. you can fish the under water jetty in ocean shores the bass fishing is great there. I use a kayak out there all the time.
