Have some 10x42 slc swarovskis.  Bought them 20 years ago.   Never a complaint with the binos and I treat them poorly.   Sent them in one time, the individual eye adjustment wasn't working, probably from one of the many falls, took a while to get back, fixed for free, but they are good as new.   Best purchase for outdoor gear I've ever made.   20 years old And my friends carrying lesser glass use mine all the time in the field, they are better than any others I've field tested.   Love em

You will be happy with them, we've had a pair for 15 or 20 years and love them.

I bought a pair 2 years ago, I did a bunch of research on several different pairs. Rokslide has a thread on binos and it was full of great info, I looked through several pairs at different stores. Each piece of glass can be different to other people's eyes.  My eyes liked the slc's very much, you should love them.

i don't use glasses, but I believe the eye cups pull out for that reason.  If you bought used ones, call Swarovski and talk to them. They will take your serial number and tell you everything that that pair has and if anything has been done to them. Good idea to register them as well.

I had a pair for work for 7 years, great glass.  I would like another pair, my Burris 10x50s are a poor substitute.  I have a pair of old 10x50 Zeiss porro prism Dekarems that are optically very close, but twice the weight and 3x the bulk of the 10x42 SLC.
