I have a small 5x5 bull that my grandpa took back in 1984. It has a lot of sentimental value to me, it's not a huge bull. I just received the antlers and the skull plate is broken down the middle. Is there a glue that can be used to put it back together? I have been considering doing a shoulder mount but don't know what a cape would cost? Would a spike be big enough for this bull or do I need to find a small bull cape to use? Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it.

I can only speak for me and not other taxis on this site but I generally fiberglass antlers that have been broken. To me its allot stronger and the last thing you want is the repair to break after the mount is dry. Its not a hard fix but time consuming so do it right the first time. as far as a cape I normally tell clients that need capes that they should plan on spending $250 minimum for a quality cape and as far as capes go Size does matter when it comes to pricing. the larger the more it costs. I would say in your case a 28-30 inch cape would be appropriate considering I haven't seen the antlers.
Good Luck
